HIGHLIGHTED PROJECTS

UCLA HEALTH INNOVATION LABS

My team was tasked to develop a patient focused journey and map out opportunities for the Labs to build into their roadmap to increase patient experiences connected with bhp treatment and care within the UCLA system.

In the Wild: One example from the UCLA Newsroom Article tells how this initiative has paid off with net revenues of more than $800,000 per month. They used these learnings in the UCLA elective surgery discharge program that has made the patient discharge process more efficient by discharging patients faster. In addition, patients now have a better understanding of post-surgery medication. Shared by Dr. Michael Yeh, associate professor of surgery at UCLA.


GE/Chevron Field Efficiency Workshop & Strategy

Connecting infrastructure via sensors and wireless networks is cheap and easy, but understanding the human motivations, desires and values underpinned by the Internet of Things is a challenge. We had to look at the Industrial Internet through the lens of human behavior, offering methodologies and frameworks to build best for a system of users.

My team led a project that harnessed new technology to aid in recovery and efficiency of oil wells. We worked with internal stakeholders to understand larger system needs, organization expectations and define opportunities and experiences for users of this new technology. I led visuals, user experience and facilitation of workshop with GE and Chevron leaders.


QUEST ALLIANCE - EDUCATION INNOVATION NGO (Bangalore, india)

Quest Alliance is a unique platform where the interest and capabilities of an NGO and the Private Sector converge to design innovative and scalable solutions for Education and training for children and youth.

Within Quest Alliance I was hands-on and led designers on 4 different projects. 1. Keeping kids in school by creating enticing curriculum. 2. Assessing and implementing learning techniques that will help teenies to understand social etiquette and norms to keep jobs. 3. Organize and support Microsoft YouthSpark for entrepreneurial and tech focused youth in India. 4. Retention strategy to keep youth attracted, learning and connected to Quest after the initial engagement ended.


FEMTECH: KINDARA WOMEN’S HEALTH AND FERTILITY APP

Boulder Startup built to support women’s understanding of their bodies. This was a really inspiring product that was female co-founded and is an outstanding app in the burgeoning field FemTech.

Working directly with CEO and Co-Founder to re-brand. I developed vision for refreshed visual brand and performed IA, UX and visual UI for entire app. I guided the product to build on the archetypal user creating a more intuitive and visually stimulating product for their users.


SOCIAL CREDITS INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FOUNDATION WEBSITE (BahRAiN)

Only through controlling the supply side of money one can make the deals that have social-impact to the economy. Thus Social Credits was born, an innovative public-private partnership model which seeks to incentivize private capital to finance public amenities (e.g. agriculture, education, energy, health, housing and water) and infrastructure projects.

I led the creative strategy on website, social engagement and collateral. Presentations shared at G20 Summit.


Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation Website

Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation needed an updated web presence that was easy to update internally. Our team built easy templated designs built with Drupal technology. The elegant and simple design showcases their projects and donation opportunities while fallowing users to take action or educate themselves easily.


PEOPLE FOR BIKES

Not only are they a smart and thoughtful bunch of people, but they are the backbone of support for the bicycle infrastructure within the U.S. cityscape. Liaison between the bicycle citizen and local and national governments, ‘PFB’ provides research that allows public representatives to create cost effective investments benefitting our country in energy reduction and heath benefits.

I designed and illustrated all collateral. The client loved it and is garnered great results from the campaign with an outreach nationwide, through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There was excitement nationwide, as 29 cities participated in the campaign.
