social credits website audit, wires & visual design
Website Audit, Wires, visual & creative strategy
Client: Social Credits
Role: Design Lead
The company founder & lead, a World Economic Forum, Young Global Leader, Ali Ibrahim, began this idea through his research where he surmised that financial markets can play an important role in poverty reduction policies. It is only through controlling the supply side of money one can make the deals that have social-impact to the economy.
“COMPASSION IS ONE OF THE CORE SOCIAL VALUES THAT GLUES US TOGETHER AS HUMANS.” - ALI IBRAHIM
Thus Social Credits was born, an innovative public-private partnership model which seeks to incentivize private capital to finance public amenities (e.g. agriculture, education, energy, health, housing and water) and infrastructure projects.
Social Credits was a new digital presence that needed a brand and digital strategy. I performed a web audit to identify top priorities. Next, created a cleaned up Information Architecture, used heuristics and data to create content strategy building a simple narrative for viewers. Wires created an architectural blueprint for the website and UI created empowering branding and clarity. I worked hand in hand with the developers to push out a beautiful responsive design website that would be easy to manage in the future.
In addition I delivered social engagement strategies and mapped out future design projects to engage, teach and inform more viewers and potential clients with our services.
